A Mighty Goose

 For the times when waves roared

Rock broke & Uncertainty float

For the times when time won

Here I stand back again

Bold & tall, from dusk to dawn

For those who celebrated my blow

Are yet to witness 

The greatest showman's show

The glitter & glamour

Packed in pure gold armor

For those who bought me watch when my time stopped

I have kept the watch as a memento

To remind, 

That the time never stops

Neither remains constant

Nor never change

No matter how good artist one is

When the curtain falls

One is off the stage

For the times when I was shown the time

Here I stand, with alarm in my hands

To buzz & blow

With no option to snooze

For now I posses the power

Of a mighty goose

The Skyscrapers

 I look up.. Up to the sky

The buildings in mid, the skyscrapers

Fade my vision line

The stars, the twinkles

Replaced by the window shades

The freshness, the breeze

Replaced by the man made caves

Tall and straight

Unanimous yet anonymous 

I look up.. to feel light 

I see the heaviness.. of glitter and shine

Artificial.. yet the truth

In the towers numbered with letters

In the letter towered, floors numbered

On the numbered floors, alphanumeric flats 

Carrying all our dreams, fear, hope and plight 

Ironical, it’s for what all crave

To own a coffin

In this cement’s grave.

The Time

 The tough time shall pass

One who has set will eventually sail

The water is shallow with dense grass

Just lay back & let the winds hail

The winds blew, the time passed

One who couldn't plough the fertile field once

Made gold from the brass

But... the clock is ticking

This too shall pass

The wind will change directions

And so, be ready to be

The one who decides

Which direction wind falls

In it....You fall or fly

As chance to learn is only for once

And rest other times

Are to improvise

Un-Biased Sight

 I see things beyond

My time

My phase

My tribe

My space

Infinity

Trinity

Misery

And Destiny

I see things beyond what’s true

For the lies are the ones

That upholds what’s true

 

Ah! I see novelty

In you, Oh! Child

I see, how the world

Is going to eat you alive

I see the honesty, rewarded with punishment

I see you will create a dynasty

But just to be sighted as a precedent

For Life’s signature is forged

Imprinted in mud

Rewarded only to those

Who have truly smudged

 

So, go and live

The way you want

Shout and Scream

And tumble down

The path said to be sinuous

For pious is resting in peace

And that’s not the place

You would want yourself to be!

DARK

 I see the light

Yet, I’m in dark

I see the sun

Yet, I’m in dark

I am the torch bearer

Of troops lost behind

I am the Light

Yet, I’m in dark

 

I hold my glass

Up in praise

I jiggle and mingle

For someone’s space

I have my path

Lit up by the fireflies wherever I go

Yet, I am in dark

 

I keep my head high

Shoulders low

Back up straight

And walk down the isle

To the serve the majestic palate

Of Love

Of Warmth

Of Pride

To wake up to a glittering start

And yet, when I open my eyes

I see the end

And

I am in dark
