SHADOW

There was someone
I saw from far
I could only but
See her shadow.

Shivering a bit
Eyes all around staring with fear
Hands and lips closed up for praying
I could trace all this from far itslef
That too only
Just by her shadow!

I peeked and leaned
To pick her up
Could not but
Find anything other than the shadow.

She had lost every bit
By the bites & claws
There was nothing left in her
Other than the shadow.

But no, Not the end
Was that what I saw
There were few bits of glaze
Still left in her shadow.

She must stand, She will!
She must fight, She will!
She must end up being the epitome of power, She will!
As, if it would have been only dark all around
There would have not existed
Even her shadow.

The Sinking Ship

I lost something when everything I got
For what I had  got was for the something I had
I fought with the winds to float my ship
I begged with the waves to float my ship
I couldn't see stars at night
As I had eyes on the sea
I couldn't feel the drops of the rain roaring around
As I had to feel only the sea
Never did I desired the sea to be calm
I knew that lines of luck don't belong to my palm
The journey I was set onto, was never meant to be low
I was ready to sit back and hit the mightiest flow
All through this, never for once did I pondered
Whether the ship to be worth to fight for and wander
Amidst the deadly  days and night
Amidst the thundering and storming sights
Amidst the journey, my dear ones asked not to set go
Amidst the trees of thorns, by the virtue of devil which was set to flow
I won with the waves
Yet lost on the way
I won with others
Yet lost by self
I had already accepted my death
To be on the sea bed while on trip
But not that I would die being safe
In the sinking ship.

Mighty who?

The white clouds
Upon the the dark ones
Upon the layers of mountains
Below the hard sun
All these mighty creations
Along with the roaring thunders and shower of rain
And at the other side was the mere I
Glazing and fearing and also being amazed

The wind then blew and whispered to me
No one who is meek and weak
Can withstand the sight of such powerful streaks
You have the will and so you are here
You have the skill and so you are here
You have the words to shatter any wall
You have the brightness to lighten up the hall
Your eyes have the sharpness to tear within the clouds
Your muscles are ripped to cut down any sword

It’s all from you
It’s all within you
It’s you who said these mountains to be mighty
It’s you who think only nature has variety
The wind then paused
Without concluding all
And left me with thoughts
Wondering, whether I was the one mighty

Or those thundering clouds

The sky too high

The tighter I held
The loosen it went
“It’s sand, my friend”, some wise people said
So is the time
Never in control
The more you try to control
The more it controls
I tried to hold the time
The merry time
The happy time
The time which gave me all
And I had the fairy life
The time which gave me love
The time which gave me smile
The time which gave me a reason
To work hard and fly
Not to be in crowd
Not be like all
Not be common
But to stand out and perform
I became honest with it
I never lied
Later realised, there is where problem lied
To survive, you ought to be brutal
You ought to be diplomat
You ought to be in spotlight
And let your shrewdness outshine
All the truth
All the facts
All the things which can hurdle up your height
But still I fought
Being what I am
And now I lie on the bed near a window
From where the sky looks too high.
