Rain, Ruins, Regrets

I could have walked
Through the pebbles along the path
But, it was raining
And, I was too afraid to get wet

I had the nerves to soak the thunders
I had the urge to amaze the wonders
The storm needed my nod to roar
The clouds needed my applaud to pour
My eyes had the fire
To burn the rain
My arms had the power
To put every evil’s eye to vain
You should have seen the way
I used to roar
It used to echo
From one shore to another shore

I had it all
Yet I failed
I know, I could have
Challenged my fate
Fought with the waves
Moulded the irons
Defeated the lions
But!
It was raining
And I was too afraid to get wet

I or Me

Amid the smoke
You see I
I and not me
Because me is calm
Composed and mature
I is ire
Both storm and fire
Me don't lie
Me is honest and polite
I is shrewed
Both maniac and screwed
Me wins all
I conquers both rise and fall
Me keeps it straigh
With the words I play
Me sees the sun
I keeps the darkness stunned

Yet, both is here
Both far and near
Both evil laugh
And innocent cry
Are within the same
Earthly eyes

Who are you?
I or me?
Because all what I said
Was not a story to narrate
It was the one thing
Within themselves which everyone orates.
