Two minutes which once upon a time

Used to be mine
Two minutes which lost
Its shine with the time
Two minutes, being merely only two minutes
Neither demanded a day, nor a month
Never even asked for a year
All I wanted were the two minutes
When we can be near without any fear

They talk about the time
I got in return
Of the minutes I asked from them
What they don't get
Is that those two minutes
Would now never return
And neither would
The talks which we could have had then.
