The Sinking Ship

I lost something when everything I got
For what I had  got was for the something I had
I fought with the winds to float my ship
I begged with the waves to float my ship
I couldn't see stars at night
As I had eyes on the sea
I couldn't feel the drops of the rain roaring around
As I had to feel only the sea
Never did I desired the sea to be calm
I knew that lines of luck don't belong to my palm
The journey I was set onto, was never meant to be low
I was ready to sit back and hit the mightiest flow
All through this, never for once did I pondered
Whether the ship to be worth to fight for and wander
Amidst the deadly  days and night
Amidst the thundering and storming sights
Amidst the journey, my dear ones asked not to set go
Amidst the trees of thorns, by the virtue of devil which was set to flow
I won with the waves
Yet lost on the way
I won with others
Yet lost by self
I had already accepted my death
To be on the sea bed while on trip
But not that I would die being safe
In the sinking ship.
