The sun shone
When it wasn’t dark
When it was dark
Only the stars could make it
Only the eyes could adjust to see clearly
The place remained dark
Red not black
Glitteringly dark
Amusing yet dull
Like the hollow skull
The fire brought the heat
The light was yet missing
Brightness is not brightness
It’s the darkness that defines
Absence or presence
It’s the darkness that brings into existence
Non-Darkness
Non - darkness and not brightness
For the beggars are not choosers
One spends whole life begging for the light
At the end, the darkness is all that defines
Whether you have the light or not
Cause one is by default
As else it would have not been there
When we weren’t at fault
