The Dark one

I brought the light

From the sun to the land

I brought the light

Within water and between the sand

I brought the light

To lighten up all around

I never knew but

The darkness was within to be found

I left the place 

When I filled it with darkness

I buried the emotions

When I filled it with sorrowness

I emptied the heart

When I had spoiled it with hatred 

I cursed down the hands

I once held for bed and bread

I left it all

To find the best

I left it all

To look for the rest

With all I learned

Now I know

I left the place for light

When within me was the darkness

I cried out loud

I weeped out low

I wore the golden coffin

And pointed others flaw

With the flow I went

To look for the shore

Never knew that I was the depth

To be found amid the sea

And that no matter how far I go

The depth is filled with darkness

Yes, I was the darkness

Of the bright blues the world saw

And Yes, I was the sadness

Of the jolly roars of waves the world applaud
